Taylor Swift loves to keep her fans guessing.

After the 2024 Olympics began in Paris on Friday, Swift's social media shared an Olympics ad featuring one of her songs from her album, "Reputation."

Swift's fans have been anxiously waiting for months for "Reputation (Taylor's Version)," and they think the Olympics ad is a major Rep-coded Easter egg. Swift has spent recent years re-releasing new versions of her old albums under her ownership and has smashed records in the music industry in the process.

Swifties got a big surprise when they saw the ad and heard the song's beat and Swift's iconic lines, "Are you ready for it? Baby, let the games begin, let the games begin, let the games begin!"

The lyrics are from the song "…Ready For It?" which is the first song on the 2017 version of her album "Reputation."

The Olympics ad, posted on both NBC Olympics and Swift's social media, includes inspiring interviews from Team USA.

"So ready to scream at my tv cheering for these athletes," Swift wrote in an Instagram story sharing the ad.

"The way I thought this was a Rep TV announcement," one fan commented on Taylor Nation's Instagram, her promotional account.

"Well this doesn't help our clowning now does it," another said.

It's not the first time Swift has whipped fans into an anticipatory frenzy over the planned new album, which, like the other re-recorded albums, will include previously unreleased bonus songs.

After releasing four of six re-recorded albums, fans thought Swift would announce "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" when she showed up at the 2024 Grammy's in February in black and white — the long-awaited album's signature color scheme. Instead, she announced a new double album, "The Tortured Poets Department."

The new Olympics ad was the second time Swift's song "…Ready For It" has shown up in connection to the Olympics. Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast of all time, uses a portion of "…Ready For It?" in her floor routine. When the NBC Olympics posted a video of Biles' floor routine in June, Swift replied that she "watched this so many times and still unready. She's ready for it tho," referring to Biles.
